Round tour from Wells Via Glastonbury Cheddar Gorge and Mendip Hills

Starting the tour at Wells in Somerset, England’s smallest city, located on the southern edge of the Mendip Hills. Moving onto Glastonbury Tor a hill near Glastonbury but still in the Mendip region, the hill is known as being one of the most spiritual sites in the country. A stone’s throw from here you can visit the sacred 2000 year old chalice well also known as the white Spring or cross the road to visit the Red Spring, along with Glastonbury Abbey in the centre with it streets full of bespoke and unique shops. Then it is a ride up to the coast to Weston Super Mare once a thriving Victorian seaside resort with its two piers. After which, it is then a joyful ride into the heart of the Mendip Hills before arriving at Cheddar Gorge, home of the world famous cheddar cheese and with its awe-inspiring cliffs either side as you ride through, to its subterranean stalactite show caves. All whilst taking in an area of outstanding natural beauty of the Mendip Hills, with some spectacular views overlooking the Somerset Levels.
