Carnforth circle around the Lake District

Most of us have heard of or have ridden the famous passes of the Lake District, this route travels around the perimeter of the National Park on little known roads. The views and landscapes are equally as beautiful but you'll escape the busy roads that a sunny day attracts. Some of the roads used are small and in remote locations adding to the thrill of this route. There are cattle grids and loose livestock so caution is required.
